As a starting entrepreneur in the Life Sciences sector, you will face numerous challenges. The Value Center provides an overview of key opportunities to accelerate your path to success. The Value Center is designed to empower entrepreneurs by providing direct access to expert guidance, pitching platforms, and funding opportunities. Take the next step in accelerating your startup’s growth! It consists of three main components:

Innovation Brokers

Innovation Brokers are part of a Health~Holland program that allows entrepreneurs to access external advisory services. Through this scheme, entrepreneurs can apply for expert support, with 50% of the costs covered. Entrepreneurs engage directly with the Innovation Brokers. Our innovation brokers are:

These organizations help startups by providing crucial guidance and expertise in various areas, from technical development to regulatory pathways.

Value Vouchers

Through the Innovation broaker subsidy program (by Health~Holland), innovation brokers are appointed. These companies execute a number of projects in collaboration with start- and scale-ups. Entrepreneurs can then make use of this value voucher scheme through the innovation brokers. Through this scheme, 50% of the costs of the process with the innovation broker are reimbursed, up to a maximum of €5,000.

For example, if you have a €10,000 process with the innovation broker, you will receive €5,000 reimbursement through the scheme and pay the remaining €5,000 yourself. As an entrepreneur, you therefore only cover half of the total costs.

Subsidies & Funding

Securing funding is a critical step for startups. The Value Center helps entrepreneurs navigate various financing options, including relevant grants and subsidy programs.

	NWO Take-offs Funding for early-stage Life Sciences projects.
	RVO Various funding schemes for innovative startups (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland).

Pitch Events

Pitching opportunities are essential for startups looking to gain exposure and attract investors. The Value Centre offers an overview of relevant pitch events where Life Sciences entrepreneurs can present their innovations to potential investors, industry experts, and partners.
