Join the Medtech and Biotech Meetings or apply for a Value Voucher

As a starting entrepreneur in Life Sciences one faces multiple challenges. Within the Value Centre of LS@W Accelerator we offer ways to increase the success rate and speeding up the development to a successful market introduction.  By pitching their innovation at the Medtech and Biotech Meetings startups can meet such experts and expand their network. For solving specific questions a startup can apply for a Value Voucher.


Medtech and Biotech Meetings

Growth ambitions can be realised by using expertise of other companies. We bring together knowledge and expertise of various experts and companies active in the Life Sciences and Health sector to benefit Life Sciences start-ups and companies with growth ambitions. With the Medtech and Biotech Meetings, startups can enter into a unique network to strengthen their business.

How it works?

  • Biotech startups pitch their proposition and end with the articulation of particular issues they have to deal with in the nearby future. These requests for external expertise can adress several subjects (technical, service related, financial).
  • Partners, who are having a chair in the audience, can apply to these requests by ‘raising their hands’ after the startups recited their questions.
  • After the plenary matchmaking we link startup and partner together so they can follow-up in confidence.
  • The LS@W Value Centre is executed in close collaboration with MedtechPartners

Value Vouchers

What is a health technology assessment and how can I use this? Which actions has to be taken to reimburse my product? Which aspects are relevant for the certification of my product? By offering a Value Voucher of € 10.000 (VAT included) a startup can hire a specialised organisation who can help to solve specific questions. As a participant we ask you to fund 50% of this voucher. Every Medtech or Biotech Meeting we grant at least one value voucher to valorise the match that has been made during the meeting.

How it works?

  • you have defined a specific question that can be solved by a third party;
  • look at the predefined criteria of the Value Vouchers;
  • contact MedtechPartners (Lisanne Wiggers: info@medtechpartners.nl | 026 355 13 55) to apply for a Value Voucher;
  • fill in the application form which is evaluated by an life sciences expert;
  • we evaluate the information and aim to let you know within two weeks if your application is honored.
