Expert Class How to Design your Clinical Study big success

Friday September 10 the first in-person LS@W Expert Class of 2021 took place. Topic of this session was how to design your clinical study in which experts shared their hands-on experience with an audience of Biotech and Medtech startups. Leon Hooftman, CMO ISA Pharmaceuticals, explained what a typical set-up for a biotech clinical trial looks like and shared some lessons learned. Jonas de Jong, CMO Happitech then explained what it takes to get a software application CE approved and finally Coen Breedveld, CEO Levels Diagnostics, enlightened the audience on how to do clinical studies on a shoestring budget.

All in all it was an inspiring and very interactive session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, get valuable input from the experts and network with the other startups present. Organised by our new partner Iventus (well-known as organisers of the Dutch Life Sciences Conference) this Expert Class on How to Design your Clinical Study was a first in a series of four Expert Classes that will take place this fall.
