Santiago WISE Award 2025: €20,000 in Grants for Women Entrepreneurs in MedTech
Are you a female entrepreneur in MedTech looking to strengthen your innovation potential and boost your chances of success and funding? The Santiago WISE Award is now open for applications — offering a total of €20,000 in grants to support women founders in medical technology.
Closing the Investment Gap
While women account for 35% of all funding applicants in the Netherlands, only 2% of investments go to female entrepreneurs. The WISE Award (Women in Science & Entrepreneurship) is designed to help close this gap by directly investing in women-led innovation.
What’s on Offer?
The award offers funding to 3–4 female entrepreneurs, with individual grants ranging between €3,000 and €6,000. The funding is intended for high-impact MedTech training or courses that support business and innovation growth.
Examples of eligible programmes include:
-
TechMed Academy – University of Twente
-
Medical Device Engineering – UCLA (online)
Courses must be MedTech-related and fall within the specified budget range.
How to Apply
Applications are open now and must be submitted by 15 September 2025 via email to info@santiago-fonds.nl. Please include:
-
A short motivation letter (max. half A4)
