We are proud to share that GOAL 3, Venture Challenge Fall 2019 alumnus, has been selected as one of the six winners of the MIT Solve Global Health Challenge 2025 with its digital health platform IMPALA.

From over 800 applicants worldwide, GOAL 3 was chosen for its innovative approach to empowering health workers and tackling preventable deaths in underserved regions. The award was presented to CEO and founder Niek Versteegde during the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he also pitched IMPALA to more than 200 potential investors and partners, including representatives from Google and Apple.

As part of the recognition, GOAL 3 also received additional financial prizes from the Johnson & Johnson Foundation and E Ink Corporation. Through MIT Solve, the team will gain access to financial, knowledge, and network support. Since its inception, MIT Solve has mobilised over $80 million to innovators reaching more than 330 million people worldwide.
