UNIIQ invests €700,000 in Oppr.ai and StemX Bio: advancing smart software and animal-free drug development

Two South Holland-based startups are turning innovation into impact with support from UNIIQ.

Oppr.ai (The Hague) is developing an AI platform for manufacturing SMEs that translates human and machine data into actionable insights, driving real-time process improvements on the factory floor.

StemX Bio (Leiden, Proefdiervrij Venture Challenge 2024) creates human 3D micro-tissues that more accurately mimic disease biology than traditional animal models — accelerating the development of safer and more effective medicines.

With a total investment of €700,000, UNIIQ supports both companies in scaling their proof-of-concept towards market readiness. Beyond funding, UNIIQ provides access to a strong regional network and strategic coaching, helping startups bridge the critical gap between innovation and implementation.

Through investments like these, UNIIQ continues to strengthen the South Holland innovation ecosystem — connecting scientific breakthroughs to real-world applications in AI, biotech, and health.
