wearable ultrasound care

More than 7 million children between the age of 6 and 12 are dealing with urinary incontinence in the Western world. Current continence training methods are not sufficient. Novioscan developed a solution to improve training effectiveness: the Urika Bladder Monitor (UBM).

The UBM is a small wearable device that provides warning when the bladder is nearly full. UBM helps children to stay dry during day and night and will improve the effectiveness of continence training by teaching the child the sensation of a full bladder.

The bladder monitor is based on ultrasound technology and has been developed in cooperation with UMC Utrecht. Several prominent European university clinics have expressed keen interest in applying the UBM in their practice.
